The Senior Propulsion Design Engineer (Engine) works onsite in Redondo Beach, CA. The stated base salary range is $140,000–$195,000 per year. The role contributes to development of the Deneb engine, intended to fly on the Helios kick stage for delivering satellites and payloads to high-energy orbits and beyond. The engineer owns engine and propulsion-component design from concept through product realization. The work includes component layout, CAD models and manufacturing drawings, engineering analyses, and coordination of procurement, fabrication, assembly, and resolution of technical issues.
