The Accounts Payable Specialist role is onsite in Boston, MA. Compensation is $25–$43.95 per hour. The specialist processes vendor payments and reimbursements accurately while maintaining documentation and compliance with organizational policies, grant requirements, and internal controls. The role supports Finance operations through Sage Intacct administration, grant accounting, vendor service, and audit readiness.

What you'll do

• Process high-volume vendor invoices
• review coding, approvals, documentation, and budget compliance
• match invoices to purchase orders when applicable
• process check runs and electronic payments
• maintain vendor records
• reconcile statements
• monitor AP aging
• process employee reimbursements
• assist with period-end close and accruals
• support Sage Intacct workflows and reporting
• code expenses to grants and funding sources
• assist with audits
• and respond to vendor and employee inquiries.
