Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator / Planner

The Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator / Planner role is onsite in Geismar, LA. Compensation is not specified. The role develops cost estimates and detailed work plans so project scopes are defined, priced, resourced, and prepared for field execution. It coordinates with operations, engineering, procurement, project management, field supervision, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to support project bidding and delivery.

What you'll do

• Review bid invitations, drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements
• perform electrical and instrumentation quantity take-offs and labor estimates
• prepare cost estimates, bid proposals, assumptions, and supporting documentation
• solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• identify scope gaps, risks, and constructability concerns
• develop work packages, execution plans, task sequences, schedules, material lists, and resource requirements
• coordinate material availability and project planning
• support project turnover, scope changes, progress reviews, and post-project evaluations.
