The Youth Job Coach — Career & Transition Services role is community-based and onsite in Frederick, MD, with services delivered in schools, workplaces, and community settings. Pay is $21–$22 per hour. RISE Services helps people with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain competitive employment. The coach helps students with disabilities build career-readiness and workplace skills, gain work-based learning experience, and prepare for employment and life after high school. Individualized coaching and coordination with schools, employers, families, and community partners support students’ employment goals and growing independence.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized career-readiness activities
• help students explore careers, search and apply for jobs, prepare resumes and interviews, and develop workplace skills
• support approved workplace and community experiences
• coordinate with employers and community partners
• adapt instruction to student abilities and support needs
• maintain progress notes, participant records, timesheets, and required reports.
