The Senior Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance is an onsite role in Waltham, MA, with a base salary range of $292,000–$402,600 per year. The role supports global pharmacovigilance for Deciphera Pharmaceuticals’ marketed and investigational products and contributes to its mission to improve the lives of people with cancer. The role provides medical leadership for product safety throughout the product lifecycle. It oversees benefit-risk assessment, safety surveillance, adverse event case review, regulatory and study documentation, and cross-functional safety decisions to support patient safety and compliant product development.

What you'll do

• Lead benefit-risk assessment and safety surveillance for assigned products
• oversee risk management and safety-critical regulatory documents
• participate in Safety Committee decisions
• review aggregate safety reports and adverse event cases
• ensure consistent medical assessment and timely submissions
• lead safety sections of study documents
• provide medical support on protocol safety issues and data monitoring committee presentations.
