Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is an onsite role based in Fort Meade, MD. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the MANTECH team in developing complex software systems for mission-critical applications. This role exists to design, develop, and maintain software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems. The engineer works individually or as part of a team to ensure software components meet design requirements and performance standards.

What you'll do

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis.
