Maintenance Assistant

Job overview

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Roanoke, VA, with compensation of $17–$18 per hour. What you'll do

• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
• inspect facilities and equipment for issues or hazards
• respond to maintenance requests and work orders
• maintain resident rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces
• set up rooms and equipment for events
• maintain required logs
• follow safety procedures
• assist with HVAC, fire safety, and emergency systems
• perform seasonal grounds work
• escort contractors and report serious concerns.
