Group Exercise Instructor

The Group Exercise Instructor role is onsite in Boca Raton, FL. Compensation is not specified. The instructor supports the YMCA’s group fitness programs and member experience. What you'll do

• Prepare class routines, music, technique cues, and equipment
• arrive five minutes before class and start and end on time
• return class materials and equipment after use
• find a substitute and notify the coordinator if unable to teach
• introduce each class
• take participant heart rates twice during class
• demonstrate modifications and encourage participants to work at their own pace
• support beginner participants with technique and form
• attend staff meetings and orientation
• promote YMCA programs and services.

Why this role
