What you'll do

• Perform task-oriented field work under instruction
• serve as site supervisor or health and safety officer on most project work
• apply project safety requirements
• learn groundwater and soil sampling, monitoring well installation, vapor intrusion studies, and Phase I and II environmental site assessments
• develop competency in additional tasks based on project needs, including stormwater sampling, industrial hygiene inspections, remedial construction support, excavation oversight, and renewable energy reconnaissance
• verify utility locates
• set up jobs and complete load lists
• assist with subcontractor management and paperwork
• inspect vehicles and equipment
• identify potential contamination sources
• prepare field documentation
• wear required PPE, including Level C PPE and respirators for some activities.
