What you'll do

• Direct research institute operations and infrastructure
• align research strategy with Envision’s mission
• lead quantitative, translational, and applied low-vision and blindness research
• oversee advisory-panel review and Institutional Review Board processes
• manage grants administration and seek external funding
• monitor budgets and research performance indicators
• recruit, develop, and evaluate staff
• build partnerships and communicate research findings
• conduct independent research, analyze data, present at conferences, and publish peer-reviewed manuscripts
• travel up to 25% of scheduled time.
