Family Support Worker

The Family Support Worker position is onsite in Delray Beach, FL. Pay is $16.32–$21.21 per hour. Redlands Christian Migrant Association is a nonprofit focused on childcare and early education, partnering with families and communities across Florida. The worker builds trusting partnerships with families and helps them use their strengths to pursue self-sufficiency, improve quality of life, and support children’s readiness for school and life. Through home visits, referrals, documentation, and collaboration with center and community teams, the role advances family goals and coordinated support.

What you'll do

• Participate in family eligibility assessment, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance processes
• conduct regular home visits
• support families in developing Family Partnership Agreements
• follow up on referrals for family goals, special needs, health, employment, education, and other services
• maintain knowledge of community resources and strengthen community collaborations
• meet with Core Teams and teachers to discuss family development needs and progress
• participate in professional development
• and comply with RCMA funding and DCF requirements.

Why this role

After hire, the employee must complete mandatory 45-hour DCF childcare training and family empowerment skills training. Within 18 months, the employee must obtain at least a family development credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field. A Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening is required.
