What you'll do

• Provide telephone support to patients, families, referral sources, payers, and clinical staff
• verify insurance coverage and benefits
• complete start-of-care and financial forms
• document cost-share and authorization details
• track authorization needs and expirations
• notify stakeholders of approvals, issues, or delays
• estimate patient financial responsibility
• maintain records in the electronic medical record
• help resolve claim rejections
• protect patient information under HIPAA.
