What you'll do

• Prepare meals using batch-cooking methods and follow menus
• accommodate special dietary needs
• maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness
• order food and supplies and maintain inventory within budget
• plan for special events and upcoming meals
• label, date, and rotate stock
• prepare food ahead for weekend and evening meals with instructions for staff
• follow sanitation and food-safety practices
• coordinate with the Clinical Nurse Manager regarding special diets.
