Packout Technician

Job overview

The Packout Technician is an onsite role in Austin, TX, paying $18–$20 per hour. American Packout’s restoration and contents division helps families and businesses recover belongings after property losses. The role documents, packs, cleans, transports, and organizes customer contents affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage, helping protect and track items throughout restoration packout operations.

What you'll do

• Pack, wrap, and protect contents
• photograph and document items in digital inventory systems
• load, transport, unload, and position contents
• assist with cleaning and restoration
• label boxes, bins, and vaults
• lift furniture and appliances
• maintain safe and organized work areas
• follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• communicate professionally with customers
• collaborate with packout teams, drivers, and project managers.
