What you'll do

• Gross-process operating room and clinic specimens, including photography and preparation of related reports
• teach junior residents grossing techniques
• support tissue-based research protocols and notify investigators when samples are ready
• maintain the gross specimen handbook
• answer attending pathologists' questions about specimen dictation and orientation
• provide data for quality assurance reports
• maintain protocols, records, equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.
