The Caregiver role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, SC, and pays $17–$20 per hour. Artisan Mt. Pleasant is part of Senior Resource Group, which develops and operates senior living communities. Working with the health services team, the caregiver assists residents with assigned care and daily activities while promoting person-centered care and independence. The role also observes changes in residents’ condition and communicates them to appropriate community staff.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and encourage self-care
• answer call lights, doors, and alarms
• support individual and group activities
• assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry as needed
• document care and shift reports
• observe and report changes in physical or mental status
• respond to emergencies
• follow infection-control and emergency procedures
• maintain confidentiality and a safe environment.
