Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Holland, MI. Pay is $28–$42 per hour. The technician supports Magna Engineered Glass’s Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering team. The role maintains and troubleshoots production equipment to reduce downtime and keep equipment available. Responsibilities vary by level, with opportunities to take on more advanced programming, system design, optimization, and technical guidance.

What you'll do

• Perform work-center startup, shutdown, and changeovers
• respond to production issues
• document repairs and preventive maintenance in the CMMS
• troubleshoot equipment including pneumatics, robots, and assembly fixtures
• handle equipment functions and adhesive dispense systems
• at higher levels troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics, servo drives, and vision systems
• modify robot paths, PLC logic, and HMI applications as applicable to level
• follow safety and environmental policies and properly handle hazardous materials.
