The Lift Operator role is onsite in Fairfield, PA, with a starting wage of $20 per hour. Vail Resorts’ Lift Experience team aims to provide guests and employees with a seamless experience from lift-queue entrance through unloading. The operator helps ensure safe, friendly, and efficient lift travel by monitoring passengers, managing lift operation, preparing the maze, and coordinating with maintenance and patrol when needed. The position also supports ticket scanning after additional training.

What you'll do

• Monitor passenger safety and provide loading and unloading instructions
• manage lift speed as needed
• operate the lift to meet capacity guidelines
• notify maintenance or dispatch of repair needs
• follow emergency procedures and contact Patrol as required
• prepare and dismantle the lift maze
• maintain a safe, clean work area
• complete additional training to support ticket scanning.
