Vice President of Operations Excellence

The Vice President of Operations Excellence is an onsite, full-time executive role in Chicago, IL, with up to 50% travel. Compensation is $130,000–$180,000 per year, plus an annual bonus opportunity. The role leads operational strategy for Heritage Imaging, a provider of mobile MRI, PET, and CT rental services that supports healthcare organizations and serves more than 30,000 patients annually. The executive drives workforce scheduling, demand planning, service strategy, and operational best practices across Heritage locations. By improving resource utilization, service consistency, technology adoption, and operational performance, the role supports the company’s growth and delivery of imaging services.

What you'll do

• Lead enterprise-wide workforce scheduling, resource planning, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop practices to improve labor utilization, technician productivity, and service consistency.
• Own business strategy, adoption, optimization, and ROI for Skedulo and MaintainX.
• Partner with IT and operational leaders to scale systems and processes.
• Set service organization strategy, lead regional service teams, establish KPIs and governance, lead demand planning and S&OP, improve customer onboarding and revenue forecast accuracy, and lead cross-functional growth initiatives.

Why this role

Executive leadership role requiring 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in field service operations, workforce management, or a related discipline; multi-site or multi-region experience is strongly preferred.
