What you'll do

• arrange patient admissions across entry points
• explain hospital policies and procedures

• ensure managed-care and precertification requirements are met
• coordinate information among patients, families, physicians, nursing units, ancillary areas, business office services, and insurers
• register patients, verify benefits and eligibility, secure authorizations, document contacts, and make financial arrangements.
