Transportation Specialist

Job overview

The Transportation Specialist role is onsite in West Palm Beach, FL, with a schedule of either 9 a.m.–6 p.m. or 10 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Compensation is $15 per hour. ChildNet provides case management support to abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Broward and Palm Beach counties. The specialist transports children to appointments, school, family visits, placements, and other services while supporting their safety and comfort. The role plans routes, records trip information, communicates delays, and maintains vehicles according to fleet standards.

What you'll do

• Transport children to service providers, medical and dental appointments, school, family visits, placements, and other services
• cover visitations, hospital emergency room visits, placements, and juvenile justice discharges
• plan routes
• report delays
• maintain trip logs and system records
• care for children while awaiting placement or transportation
• maintain vehicles and drive safely.
