Customer Service Self-Storage Manager

The Customer Service Self-Storage Manager role is onsite in Sherwood, OR, with work across multiple locations. Compensation is $18 per hour. Public Storage is a self-storage industry leader. The manager assists customers with storage needs, supports rentals and sales of packing and moving supplies, and maintains facility readiness through inspections and daily business tasks. The role works independently across properties and helps keep customer accounts and facilities in good order.

What you'll do

• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• inspect storage units to confirm inventory and availability
• audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• make payment reminder and collection calls when required
• travel between work locations using a personal vehicle
• perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks and maintain exterior grounds
• walk around facilities and work both indoors and outdoors.

Why this role

Flexible and full-time schedules are available between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., with weekends until 5 p.m. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel between properties. Property managers may earn performance-based bonuses. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required.
