What you'll do
- Support residents’ health, safety, and welfare
- engage, mentor, and develop nurses
- assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and in-service education
- maintain employee training and evaluation records
- coordinate medication availability with pharmacy personnel
- participate in nursing services planning and budgeting
- chair or participate in infection control, pharmacy, and risk management committees
- develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- maintain knowledge of licensing and certification standards
- protect resident confidentiality and serve as a mandated reporter.
