Work Control Planner 4

The Work Control Planner 4 role is 100% onsite in Los Alamos, NM, with pay of $80 to $85 per hour and a 4x10 schedule. The role supports critical operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory in a secure, regulated environment. The planner develops and manages detailed work packages for maintenance and operational activities, coordinating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. The work supports safe, compliant execution across facility systems through planning, procedure development, constraint resolution, and package closeout.

What you'll do

• Develop and review work packages covering labor, materials, time estimates, and step-by-step instructions
• create and maintain procedures, safety requirements, and testing documentation
• support planning across mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological systems
• identify and resolve work constraints
• coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering
• manage work packages through planning, execution, and closure
• use computerized maintenance management systems such as Maximo or similar tools.
