Claims Management and Coverage Counsel

The counsel independently manages complex claims and coverage matters from notification through resolution. The role combines coverage analysis, litigation and settlement strategy, client reporting, and coordination with carriers and outside counsel to support effective risk management.

What you'll do

• Manage claims from notification through resolution
• evaluate coverage, liability, and damages
• draft reservation-of-rights and coverage-denial letters
• develop handling and resolution strategies
• coordinate outside counsel
• prepare exposure analyses and reserve recommendations
• negotiate and participate in mediation
• work with attorneys and partners
• communicate with clients, carriers, and outside counsel.
