What you'll do

• Perform second-tier insurance follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable
• resolve denied, underpaid, and aged claims
• research high-dollar accounts
• review UB-04 and/or HCFA 1500 claims
• investigate eligibility, coding, payer, and reimbursement issues
• submit corrected claims, rebills, secondary billing, and appeals
• document activity
• and escalate payer errors.
