What you'll do

• Make timely contacts and investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• take recorded statements when appropriate
• assess exposure and establish or adjust reserves
• assign and direct internal and external resources
• identify questionable claims and consult with SIU as appropriate
• determine settlement values and negotiate within authority
• recommend settlement and disposition for claims exceeding authority
• maintain state licensing and continuing education requirements.
