What you'll do

• Handle, prepare, and serve food in a sanitary manner
• set up trays and food service carts accurately and on time
• serve and bus trays
• pour and cover beverages
• assist with preparing, covering, and labeling food
• care for and clean kitchen equipment
• help keep food service equipment in good working order
• cooperate with dietary staff and other departments
• attend dietary in-service training
• follow infection-control procedures, Residents’ Rights policies, facility policies, and confidentiality requirements.
