Knitting Associate

The Knitting Associate role is onsite in Reading, PA. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. The role works with Buck Mason’s knitting operations team on production and development deadlines. The associate supports knitting machine setup and fabric production, helps maintain quality and troubleshoot defects, and assists with testing, specifications, shipments, and inventory. The role contributes to the team’s production workflow and machine upkeep.

What you'll do

• Support machine setup, including cylinder changes, needle setup, yarn racking, and knit downs
• run and monitor fabric production
• help maintain quality and troubleshoot defects
• clean machines and keep the workspace clear of fiber and dust
• assist with fabric tests and specification sheets
• oversee inbound and outbound shipments
• help prepare and fulfill orders
• track yarn and machine-part inventory.
