CNC Machinist and Programmer

The CNC Machinist and Programmer role is onsite in Woodruff, SC. Compensation is $21–$38 per hour. POL-TECH MACHINING is a precision machining shop producing custom machined parts for a range of industries. The role programs and operates CNC equipment to produce precision components. It contributes to reliable, accurate production by interpreting technical drawings, inspecting parts, and adjusting programs, tooling, and setups as needed.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines
• write, edit, and optimize G-code programs using CAM software
• interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
• inspect parts with precision measurement tools
• troubleshoot machining issues
• select cutting tools and fixtures
• and maintain a clean, safe work area.
