Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager position is onsite in Jacksonville, FL, paying $24–$26 per hour. The role supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of a residential community. The assistant handles accounting and bookkeeping tasks, resident payments, invoices, and financial reporting while helping maintain accurate property records. Resident service, lease administration, and coordination with vendors and maintenance support the community’s day-to-day operations.

What you'll do

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments
• prepare bank deposits and reconcile accounts
• prepare financial reports and process invoices
• use property management software to record and report financial activity
• review resident accounts and follow up on unpaid balances
• submit vendor invoices for payment
• follow established eviction procedures
• process resident move-outs and deposit dispositions
• respond to resident concerns
• act as onsite supervisor when the Community Manager is absent
• coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks
• assist with leasing and marketing efforts as needed.
