What you'll do

• Review clinical documentation and patient charges for alignment and accurate capture under payer guidelines
• complete charge reviews within three days of discharge
• identify missed charges
• conduct audits to reduce errors and identify process improvements
• collaborate with coding, billing, and clinical care departments
• report problems to the department manager
• maintain familiarity with Health Information Management and HIPAA manuals
• accept additional assignments.
