Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required This is an onsite position located in West Hollywood, CA. The salary is $44,768.00 per person per year. Milton Hershey School is a cost-free, career-focused education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role involves providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for students in a home-like environment, fostering their academic, emotional, and social development. Houseparents will initially support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with the potential to transition to a Placed Houseparent role.

What you'll do

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

High school diploma or GED required; Experience working or volunteering with youth; Valid U.S. driver’s license
