Food Service Staff

Job overview

The Food Service Staff role is onsite in Rhinelander, WI, and compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; an amended schedule may be considered. Correct Choice provides support services to correctional facilities, including nutritious meals. The staff member trains in food preparation and tray assembly, helps prepare and serve meals according to production plans and dietary requirements, and maintains food safety and sanitation. The role also supports inventory, receiving, storage, ordering, work scheduling, and compliance with security procedures.

What you'll do

• Train in food preparation and tray assembly
• prepare and serve meals efficiently according to production plans, portion control, and dietary requirements
• maintain sanitation and HACCP food-handling standards
• comply with security policies and manage tools and equipment
• assist with inventory, receiving, storage, and ordering
• prepare work schedules and follow operational procedures.
