What you'll do

• Maintain GIS applications, work orders, databases, and mapping
• develop and maintain the Engineering Work Order Management System
• support field engineers and engineering staff
• support system upgrades
• maintain application menus, symbology, scripts, library files, and databases
• coordinate GIS field data collection
• maintain GPS activity libraries and equipment
• prepare specialty maps, engineering drawings, and GIS background data
• update as-built drawings
• develop training materials
• work with software companies to report issues
• be available for after-hours work and necessary overtime.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in geoscience, engineering technologies, or a related field preferred, or at least five years of professional experience, preferably in GIS. Working knowledge of GIS, GPS, relational databases, ESRI, and basic AutoCAD is relevant.
