What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
• supervise licensed practical nurses, medication aides, certified nursing assistants, and other direct-care staff
• assign and direct work based on resident needs and staff capabilities
• adjust assignments for staffing levels and resident safety
• arrange replacements for staffing needs
• transfer employees among units as needed
• complete performance evaluations and provide input on personnel decisions
• adjust break schedules and resolve staff concerns
• oversee unit operations when higher-level management is absent.

Why this role

Current state Registered Nurse license required; current CPR certification or certification within 90 days of employment. One to two years of long-term or subacute nursing experience is preferred.
