Grades Extended Care Teacher

The Grades Extended Care Teacher role is onsite in Newtown, CT, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 or 6:00 p.m., depending on enrollment. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. The teacher supports Housatonic Valley Waldorf School’s after-school program for grade-school students. The teacher supervises children, provides a secure and supportive space, and coordinates transitions between school, extended care, and late care. The role helps maintain a smooth program through attendance records, engaging activities, communication with parents and colleagues, and classroom organization.
