The Controller role is onsite in Woodland, WA. Compensation is not specified. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller directs the accounting department and the corporation’s financial functions. The Controller maintains reliable financial reporting and financial controls, leads the monthly close, and partners with business leaders on financial results, contract profitability, and working-capital improvements to support company operations.

What you'll do

• Process and record daily business transactions
• direct accounting and financial functions in accordance with GAAP and financial management practices
• prepare monthly reporting packages and variance analyses
• own month-end close, journal entries, reserves, accruals, and balance-sheet reconciliations
• develop internal controls
• support government bid compliance, overhead rates, inventory valuation, contract profitability, consolidation, and KPI reporting
• partner with general managers on financial results and working capital.

Why this role

Requires 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, government contract bid/pricing experience, and strong GAAP and percent-of-completion accounting skills; CPA preferred.
