Maintenance Technician — Electrical Focus

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician — Electrical Focus role is onsite in Vineland, NJ, with compensation of $30–$38 per hour. The technician supports critical food production operations by maintaining production and packaging equipment and helping maximize equipment uptime. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems, and supports equipment upgrades and production changeovers. Working with operators and management, the technician helps minimize downtime and maintain production output.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems across production and packaging lines
• troubleshoot motors, conveyors, sealers, and PLC-driven equipment
• maintain 120V/240V single-phase and 480V three-phase systems
• diagnose sensors, relays, and switches
• use HMIs to monitor and adjust machine parameters
• read schematics and manuals
• support changeovers
• maintain packaging-line glue and adhesive systems
• assist with boiler, compressor, water treatment, and HVAC maintenance as needed
• log work orders and preventive maintenance in a CMMS
• replace mechanical parts
• organize components, tools, and spare parts.
