What you'll do

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and integrate laboratory, blood bank, and pathology services
• plan and delegate work
• maintain staffing levels
• ensure quality of technical and clerical work
• collaborate with other departments
• maintain compliance with CAP, AABB, TJC, OSHA, DPH, and CLIA requirements
• maintain inspection readiness and documentation
• develop and monitor quality improvement and assurance plans with the medical director
• review quality control, instrument maintenance, and proficiency testing.
