The position provides strategic leadership for Integrated System Planning in support of Southwestern Public Service Company across Texas and New Mexico. The director aligns long-term planning, regulatory strategy, infrastructure investment, and customer-driven system growth to advance reliable, affordable, executable outcomes. The role represents the company in regulatory, customer, industry, and policy forums and leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning strategies and related approvals and cost recovery.
What you'll do
- Set and execute integrated planning strategies across generation, transmission, distribution, customer-driven growth, and long-range system needs
- identify and respond to policy, market, regulatory, and planning issues
- represent the company with regulators, agencies, customers, municipalities, market participants, and policy stakeholders
- develop cost allocation and cost recovery strategies
- provide testimony in regulatory proceedings
- lead a multidisciplinary team
- oversee contracts and partnerships supporting planning and investment.
