Job overview
The Registered Nurse role is onsite in Waukegan, IL. Compensation is $39–$45 per hour. The nurse provides care to residents in a skilled nursing facility and supports ASPYRE Healthcare’s mission of exceptional resident care. The RN provides total nursing care during the assigned shift, coordinates individualized care with allied health team members, and serves as a clinical resource for staff. The role also supports resident well-being through assessment, treatment, education, documentation, and oversight of nursing duties.
What you'll do
- Provide total care for residents on the assigned unit
- collaborate with allied health team members on individualized care plans
- administer prescribed medications and treatments and evaluate effectiveness
- support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
- educate residents and families
- monitor team performance and support staff development
- assign and oversee nursing duties
- participate in in-service and continuing education
- respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions
- document care and relevant information
- act as charge nurse and provide clinical guidance
- follow safety protocols.
