Before & After Care Group Leader

The Before & After Care Group Leader role is onsite in Jackson, TN, with a flexible split-shift schedule Monday through Friday during before-school and/or after-school hours. The group leader implements activities and daily lesson plans for school-age programs and supports children's social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth. The role works with site staff to maintain a safe, organized program environment and follow YMCA guidelines and licensing standards.

What you'll do

• Lead and engage groups of 15–20 children in activities and transitions
• set up and take down program spaces
• follow safety and risk-management policies
• assist with planning and implementing curriculum
• attend staff meetings and required training
• help maintain supplies and inventory
• assist with licensing standards
• maintain positive relationships with YMCA and school staff
• perform duties assigned by the Site Director.
