The Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Travel Nights role is an onsite 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. Pay is $2,041–$2,061 per week. The nurse joins a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care team. The RN provides evidence-based care to critically ill cardiovascular and ICU patients, including patients recovering from cardiac and vascular procedures. The role monitors patient status, manages ventilator and vasoactive medication needs, responds to changes, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to cardiovascular and ICU patients
• care for patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular procedures

• monitor hemodynamic status
• administer medications and treatments
• document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• respond to changes and participate in emergency interventions

Why this role

13-week assignment; three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; 36 hours per week; at least six Saturday/Sunday shifts during the 13-week contract; must float to appropriate units including MICU and PCU. Active Arizona RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of recent ICU/CVICU experience required.
