The Wastewater Treatment Operator role is onsite in Milford, NH, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The Town of Milford’s Water Utilities Department operates and maintains municipal wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems. The operator helps keep treatment processes and related systems functioning safely and reliably. The work includes monitoring operations, maintaining and repairing equipment, collecting samples, recording results, and responding to hazards or equipment issues.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment processes, pump stations, and collection systems
• start and shut down equipment
• monitor SCADA and other instruments and maintain logs
• collect samples and perform laboratory analyses
• operate biosolids dewatering equipment
• troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
• maintain facility drawings
• perform facility and grounds maintenance
• assist with training operators.
