The Maintenance Technician — Apartment Community role is onsite in Syracuse, NY. Pay is $20–$28 per hour. The technician supports the upkeep and daily operations of an apartment community managed by Dawn Homes Management. The role maintains the property’s physical condition by completing apartment make-ready work, resident work requests, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Timely repairs and customer service help prepare units for move-in and support residents’ expectations.

What you'll do

• Prepare vacant units for move-in with painting and minor plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs
• complete work requests promptly and communicate project status
• inspect buildings, grounds, and vacant units
• perform snow removal and salting as needed
• provide professional customer service
• perform routine and preventive maintenance.
