What you'll do

• Assist in leading daily nursing department operations
• support, mentor, coach, and supervise nursing staff
• participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
• ensure compliance with CMS and applicable regulations
• conduct clinical audits, chart reviews, and quality assurance rounds
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• assist with staffing, scheduling, and clinical oversight
• serve as Acting Director of Nursing in the DON's absence
• promote accountability, communication, continuous improvement, and a positive workplace culture.

Why this role

Requires an active Registered Nurse license valid in the state of employment and at least two years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred. On-call work is required as needed. A BSN is preferred.
