Corporate Counsel

The Corporate Counsel role is onsite five days a week and may be based in Austin, TX, Palo Alto, CA, Washington, D.C., or New York, NY. The stated salary range is $220,000–$260,000. SpaceXAI’s mission is to create AI systems that can understand the universe and aid humanity’s pursuit of knowledge. The counsel leads and supports strategic transactions and corporate governance, partnering with internal teams to manage deals, subsidiary matters, and complex legal and business issues.

What you'll do

• Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, partnerships, and other strategic transactions from diligence through integration
• partner with corporate development, finance, and operations
• drive post-closing integration
• develop transaction processes and templates
• advise on corporate governance
• oversee subsidiary maintenance and compliance
• and provide counsel on general corporate matters.
