The Apartment Maintenance Technician role is onsite across apartment communities in Greensburg and New Kensington, PA. Pay is $24–$27 per hour. The role supports five apartment communities totaling 295 units and Birgo’s goal of improving residents’ lives and enhancing communities. The position exists to maintain apartment homes and shared property assets through unit turnovers, repairs, and preventive maintenance. It also supports consistent maintenance standards across the listed communities and may provide assistance at other locations in the region.

What you'll do

• Complete apartment turnovers and make-readies
• perform repairs involving drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
• and conduct preventive maintenance. Handle emergency after-hours on-call maintenance service and travel between property groups, with mileage reimbursement. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, insured transportation, ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, use power tools safely, and work in confined spaces and on ladders and stairs.
