The Field Service Technician — CNC Cutting Equipment (Travel Required) role is based in Brook Park, OH, with frequent customer-site travel, including local and national travel and overnight trips of up to 70%. Pay is $26–$34 per hour, depending on experience. The employer is recruiting for a client that services CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs cutting equipment at customer facilities and supports shop repairs and testing. The work helps customers keep machines accurate, reliable, and safe through technical service, preventive maintenance, training, and clear service documentation.

What you'll do

• Assemble and install machines
• repair equipment and verify installation accuracy and settings
• diagnose mechanical and electrical issues involving relays, control circuits, electronic boards, and PLCs
• adjust CNC control tuning software as needed
• test equipment against technical specifications
• support refurbishment, relocation, shop repairs, and testing
• train customers on operation, cutting techniques, maintenance, and upgrades
• provide telephone troubleshooting support
• prepare service reports
• interpret technical drawings and schematics
• and follow safety procedures.
